Our menu for celiacs, in fact, has the typical dishes of our cuisine in the “gluten-free” version, such as ribollita, homemade pasta, gnocchi, fried foods, pizzas and desserts. All homemade!
Celiac disease in our society has become a common reality for many; for Trattoria da Garibardi it is a duty of civility and sensitivity to offer a gluten-free menu, in complete safety, health and serenity..
The kitchen is set up specifically to avoid cross-contamination: spaces, production processes, utensils, and tools are separated. The oven, fryer, and even refrigerators are exclusively dedicated to gluten-free ingredients and preparations: zero risk for our customers!
Being AIC certified, we constantly attend refresher courses and we followed by a tutor from the Association.
Without false modesty we can certainly say that in the gluten-free sector we are a point of reference for the whole city of Florence.

Dined at this place during our stay in Florence and had a wonderful experience. My wife is Celiac and they had a whole separate menu for gluten free as well as homemade gluten free pasta. Fully recommend. Excellent gliten free options. The have an entire separate menu for gluten-free and homemade gluten free pasta, which was amazing.

Visited with my daughter who has coeliac disease and she was in heaven. The bruschetta and puffed pizza dough were amazing. Her carbonara was great and she thought the tiramisu was fantastic. Wonderful menu for those with CD. I had the entrecôte streak (the florentine steak would have been too much for me). The steak was melt in the mouth perfection.

Awesome restaurant for gluten-free! While in Florence we went to this ristorante twice! I felt very safe here as they have a separate menu for gf and take great care to identify when gluten is present. I had mini meatballs as an appetizer and gnocchi for my main. My husband also enjoyed his gluten filled beef stew. Our server was very friendly. The second time we went we had the Florintine steak! Also indulged in dessert! I had gf tiramisu! So delicious.
